Superwoman

Who is a superwoman? That’s my mom – she is tough and strong. It’s her annual tradition to prepare a variety of winter pickles. Since the day my dad went to the hospital, she has washed, dried and cut veges and fishes. It takes so much time and so much work. Although my dad, loved her pickles the most, is not here anymore, she has finished them for him and us. My sister and I helped her out of course. I want to make them someday in Canada or Poland
I appreciate her letting us enjoy these pickles this year as well. I can’t wait to eat them!
The song, ‘Superwoman’ by Alicia Keys, motivates me to stay strong. Yup, all woman are storng, aren’t they?
For all the mothers fighting
For better days to come
And all my women, all my women sitting here trying
To come home before the sun
And all my sisters
Coming together
Say yes I will
Yes I can
Cause I am a Superwoman
Yes I am
Yes she is
Even when I’m a mess
I still put on a vest
With an S on my chest
Oh yes
I’m a Superwoman
When I’m breaking down
And I can’t be found
And I start to get weak
Cause no one knows
Me underneath these clothes
But I can fly
We can fly, Oh
